Seasalt Websites is located on Big Coppitt Key, Florida. It is not an excessively large, overrun with expenses, overly diversified marketing and design office. It is a small and personal design company privately owned and operated in The Florida Keys.
When you call the office, you won't reach a phone tree, you'll reach us directly. When you send an e-mail, it won't be passed to the next level — then the next level — and so on. It will be answered directly by us, typically within a few hours. We know all our clients by first name — not by an identification number.
Our goal is to advertise your business and/or build you a website that brings you more customers. We want you to be 100% satisfied with our service — and with your web site. If you're not successful, we're not successful.
Who We Are
Kate & Bill Gernaat own and operate Seasalt Websites just outside Key West, Florida. Previously known as Global Net-Bizz and Design Edge Studio, we originally opened in Jacksonville, Florida in 2000. In 2015, the company's name was changed to Seasalt Websites, to better represent the focus of the business — clean, clear web design, internet advertising and social media maintenance.
We pride ourselves in creating long-term friendships from business interactions. We have a history of actually caring about our clients and their business success. With every person we help, we go above and beyond to help their businesses grow.
We are currently or former members of the following organizations:
- The National Chamber of Commerce
- Pasco County Chamber of Commerce
- Pinellas County Chamber of Commerce
- Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce
- The British American Chamber of Commerce
- General Federation of Woman's Clubs
- National Association of Professional Women
We believe in clean, clear, visually appealing website designs. It's all about communication. Websites should communicate their message effectively while not letting the design features get in the way. We use essential, basic design principals to communicate your message to your audience.
There's simply too much information thrown at us in our daily lives including signs, lists, rules, and advertisements. It seems that too often the messages themselves become cluttered and lost. Good marketing is simple, attractive and memorable — without losing the message.
In our design process, we'll communicate our philosophy to you while encouraging you to participate with feedback. Your web site should reflect your business and personality. We're here to recommend ways to present your business to the world and we'll tell you why and how it all works, always leaving the final decisions and approval to you. After all, it's YOUR business.
